Oh, Michael?

Louisiana Senator Charlie Melancon has Mike Brown's emails from this Labor Day on his website today. Besides the general feeling that we hired a rich, bored office drone to run our country's emergency responders, the thing that really struck me was: "Wow, Brownie's a bit of a...queen?" A long, surreal chain of emails surrounding what Brown is supposed to wear on TV that night "Tie or not?" concludes with one of his female subordinates telling him "You look fabulous - and I'm talking the makeup!", and Brown responding "If you look at my lovely FEMA attire you'll really vomit. I am a fashion god." This is apparently the story of Nero all over again, except instead of fiddling he's watching Queer Eye.
